Dr Mark Chong qualified as a doctor in the UK and has been practising for 22 years. He is a fully qualified orthopaedic specialist surgeon. He served as the Head of division for the Adult Reconstruction at the National University Hospital Orthopaedic Department in 2021.

His main interests are Foot and Ankle and Lower Limb Joint Reconstruction Surgery.

Dr Chong was recognised as the top orthopaedic surgeon to represent Singapore for the SICOT Orthopaedic congress in Italy and his team was awarded the National Excellence Service by the Ministry of Health recently for delivering the first ‘Value’ driven healthcare in Singapore.

He regularly speaks at international conferences and trains medical students and surgeons in UK and Asia. He consistently publishes research in premier orthopaedic journals and holds membership of the orthopaedic associations in Singapore, Malaysia and United Kingdom.

Dr Chong has a passion for sports most notably in Rugby and Football. He is the team medic for Tanglin Rugby Club in Singapore. He is a certified World Rugby Educator and regularly covers matches as a pitchside doctor.

Dr Chong’s current private practice is at the International Orthopaedic Clinic (IOC) Singapore and at Alty Orthopaedic Hospital in Kuala Lumpur. He is a Visiting Consultant at the National University Hospital, Singapore. He aims to deliver the most comprehensive, one-stop care for all your musculoskeletal health needs.
